"Il Chiuso” takes its name from the vineyard where Pinot Noir was planted in 1984. The clones were chosen from the homeland of this famous variety: Burgundy; more precisely, from the municipality of Morey-Saint-Denis, the place of origin of wines torn between structure and grace and characterized by a predominantly calcareous soil.
This noble variety, grown on highly calcareous soil and at about 500 meters a.s.l., produces a wine of unique pleasure. “Il Chiuso” has all the fruity immediacy of Pinot Noir combined with elegance and verticality resulting from the altitude and soil of Ama.
